Our Philosophy
Playground Athletics Club was founded with a simple belief: kids should have fun while they learn to love being active.

We design high-energy sessions that build fundamental movement skills, confidence, and genuine friendships all while having fun. Our programs are age-appropriate, play-based, and aligned with Ontario's Physical Education curriculum.

Rather than pushing early sport specialization, we give kids the space to explore movement, try different activities, develop new skills, and discover what they enjoy. We believe that when children feel confident in their bodies and connected to their peers, they develop healthy, active habits for life.

Our goal is to create experiences where kids look forward to moving, playing, making friends, and growing in a positive, supportive environment.

Meet Your Coach
Certified HPE Teacher & Youth Athletics Leader
Hi, I’m the founder and coach behind Playground Athletics Club.

I’m a certified Health & Physical Education teacher with K–12 experience in both Canada and Australia. I’ve had the opportunity to coach dozens of teams across a wide range of sports, including hockey, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, baseball, AFL, T-ball, and more.

During my time teaching in Australia, I also ran a multi-sport soccer camp, which inspired me to bring that experience home and build something of my own here in Etobicoke.

I’ve always loved sport for what it offers beyond the game itself. It gives kids opportunities to build confidence, work as a team, try new things, challenge themselves, and most importantly, have fun while being active. As a teacher and coach, my goal is to create an environment where every child feels welcome and encouraged to participate.

Playground Athletics Club is my way of bringing together my passion for teaching, coaching, and sport to create positive experiences that help kids build a lifelong love of movement.
